SaaSFactory.ai Acceptable Use Policy
This policy is part of the SaaSFactory.ai Terms of Service. It sets out what cannot be built, sold or done on SaaS Factory. Clause numbers refer to the terms.
1. Business use only. SaaS Factory is for business use. Building a product to sell or charge for is business use (clause 1).
2. Banned outright on SaaS Factory. Adult content and services of any kind, including AI generated. Gambling in all forms: games of chance or skill with prizes, lotteries, sweepstakes, fantasy sports with prizes, entry fees promising prizes. These are banned for building, not just payments.
3. Prohibited products and sectors. Anything illegal, including drugs and paraphernalia and fake IDs. High risk financial products: shell banks, peer to peer money transmission, cheque cashing, debt collection, money orders, funded prop trading. Debt settlement, credit repair, paying loans by credit card. Cannabis, and CBD above legal THC limits. Illegal weapons, explosives, toxic or flammable materials. Counterfeits and IP infringement. Bail bonds, bankruptcy lawyers, identity theft protection. Deceptive practices: pyramid schemes, MLM with recruitment commissions, get rich quick schemes, telemarketing, negative option billing with hidden pricing. Crypto mining and staking, ICOs, secondary NFT sales. Commercial airlines and cruises, timeshares, cross border charter flights. Stripe’s restricted businesses list also applies in full.
4. Restricted territories. No dealings, direct or indirect, with Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, or the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions. No dealings with anyone on US, UK, EU or UN sanctions lists. The UK and EU service bans relating to Russia apply. These lists come from sanctions regimes, Stripe, the card schemes and Constellation Software group policy, and can change at any time without notice (clause 5).
5. Prohibited conduct. No use of SaaS Factory to: send spam or unlawful marketing; harass, defame, impersonate or harm others; upload malicious code; attack, probe or overload the platform or anyone else’s systems; scrape or harvest data unlawfully; evade limits, suspensions or bans with multiple accounts (clause 17.4); reverse engineer the platform or use it to build a competing product (clauses 45.1 and 45.4).
6. Content rules. You are responsible for everything your product and its marketing contain. No illegal content, no infringing content, no deceptive claims. Marketing through Growth channels must comply with marketing law in your markets (clause 28).
7. In doubt, ask first. If you are unsure whether your product or sector is acceptable, contact support@saasfactory.ai before building. We will seek written confirmation from our payment provider where needed (clause 14.2).
8. Enforcement. Breach can mean content removal, channel suspension, product suspension, fund holds, or immediate termination without refund, as set out in the terms. Report suspected violations to support@saasfactory.ai.
